Magnetic Engines Continues Expanding Its CFM56-5B Cooperation with Lufthansa Group’s Group Engine Management (GEM)
Recently, Lufthansa Group’s Group Engine Management (GEM) team and senior leadership visited the Magnetic Engines workshop to review performance since the agreement was signed in 2025 and discuss future opportunities.
The visit marked an important milestone in a partnership that has developed significantly over the past two years. Since GEM’s first visit, while negotiations were still ongoing, Magnetic Engines has signed the agreement and completed work on several CFM56-5B engines from different airlines within the Lufthansa Group.
As Victoria Goodenough, Business Development Manager at Magnetic Engines, noted, “This visit was a good opportunity to review how far the cooperation has come and to discuss where we can create more value for Lufthansa Group airlines going forward.”
Following a successful first year of cooperation, both parties reaffirmed their focus on providing time- and cost-saving repair solutions for Lufthansa Group airlines. The visit was also a strong recognition of the progress made so far and of the value this collaboration brings to Magnetic Engines as a trusted repair partner for one of the industry’s leading airline groups.
