Magnetic Trading Strengthens Supply Chain Credentials with ASA-100 Certification
Magnetic Trading has received ASA-100 certification, the recognised industry standard for quality management in aviation parts trading and supply chain operations.
The achievement also marks a broader milestone for Magnetic Group, which has held ASA-100 certification since 2016 – making this its tenth year under the standard.
The recent certification activity extended the existing approval to include Magnetic Trading and Baltic Maintenance, the group’s storage management partner in Vilnius, bringing both entities formally within the certified scope.
ASA-100 is designed specifically for the aviation aftermarket environment, covering traceability, documentation, storage conditions, supplier control, and inventory management.
For trading operations in particular, it provides external verification that parts are handled and supplied in line with strict industry expectations.
“It gives additional confidence to both our customers and suppliers that we operate with strong quality control, proper traceability, and clear processes when it comes to trading aircraft parts,” says Airina Kacienaitė-Krakė, Managing Director at Magnetic Trading.

From a group quality perspective, the certification confirms alignment with standards that major aviation organisations increasingly expect from their supply chain partners.
“While not every customer formally requires an aerospace trading certification, most large and globally recognised organisations do expect their partners to operate under approved industry standards such as ASA-100,” notes Martti Ärmpalu, Head of Group Quality at Magnetic Group.

“Having this certification demonstrates our commitment to quality, reliability, and compliance.”
Achieving the certification required a sustained team effort – reviewing procedures, aligning documentation, and maintaining full compliance with requirements while managing the pace of daily trading operations.
“The most challenging part was making sure that every detail and every process was documented and followed consistently,” says Airina.
“But it was a very collaborative effort, and what I’m most proud of is the team behind it.”
The certification positions Magnetic Trading for continued growth within the global aviation supply chain, reinforcing its credibility with existing partners and opening doors with new ones.
