Magnetic MRO’s aircraft maintenance hangars at Tallinn Airport received the Special Award for a Beautiful and Business Friendly Environment as part of the nationwide Beautiful Estonian Home 2026 competition and were named the winner of the Beautiful Industrial Landscape 2026 category.

Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mait Palts, President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, and Tiina Shein, Head of Marketing of Magnetic Group

The award was presented by the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, and Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mait Palts, at the official award ceremony held in Haapsalu on 30 August.

The doors of Magnetic MRO’s maintenance hangars at Tallinn Airport feature vibrant and colourful images of curious and joyful children alongside aircraft.

“These are among the first images passengers see when landing in Estonia and, over the years, they have brought smiles to the faces of millions of people. In doing so, they help create a positive image not only of Magnetic, but also of Tallinn and Estonia as a whole,” the jury stated in its feedback.

The stencil artworks were commissioned by Magnetic Group and created by Estonian street artist Von Bomb. Developed over several years, the murals have become an important part of Magnetic’s visual identity and international recognition within the aviation industry.

The joyful and curious children bring playfulness, warmth and humanity into the demanding and highly technical aircraft maintenance environment. At the same time, the artworks draw attention to aviation as an exciting and forward looking industry, inspiring young people to discover this world, study aviation and consider building their future careers in the field.

The concept behind the artistic design of the hangar doors and its continued development have been led by Magnetic Group CEO Risto Mäeots and Head of Marketing Tiina Shein.

“For us, these are much more than large and colourful images on our hangar doors. They represent Magnetic’s courage to stand out, do things differently and bring more humanity and emotion into a highly technical environment. This recognition gives us even more confidence to believe in our ideas. It is an award that every Magnetic employee can carry with pride,” said Tiina Shein, Head of Marketing of Magnetic Group.

Magnetic Group extends its sincere thanks to the Estonian Home Beautification Association, the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the President of the Republic of Estonia for this meaningful recognition.
