Estonian Aviation Academy and Magnetic MRO celebrate second class of unique apprenticeship program graduates

In 2018, Magnetic MRO and Estonian Aviation Academy started unique cooperation aimed at training a new generation of aircraft mechanics under a two-year apprenticeship program. On 21st of January 2021, already 2nd course of Aircraft Technician vocational study program graduated their studies from the Academy.

6 students received their diplomas during an graduation ceremony held in Estonian Aviation Academy in Tartu and will now continue their aviation careers at Magnetic MRO as mechanics. “I am extremely pleased that the cooperation between Magnetic MRO and the Estonian Aviation Academy – together, wewill continue to popularize aviation and provide students with priceless hands-on work experience. Big congratulations to our graduates: Kristi Murumets, Enn Saareke, Märt Korba, Eduard Kiilmann, Marian Andras Barath and Aleksandr Rakovski. I wish you an exciting and adventurous career in the aviation industry and in Magnetic MRO,” shared Ene Krinpus, HR Manager at Magnetic MRO. Magnetic MRO launched AIMM (Apprenticeship & Internship at Magnetic MRO) as a unique project to train and employ Apprentices with specialization in different areas. During the two-year-long apprenticeship period, the training is conducted under Estonia’s leading vocational study program in aviation, designed by Estonian Aviation Academy. Last year, the programm received award in Training at Work category at 2020 Awards for VET Excellence, award program which is part of the European Vocational Skills Week.
