Celebrating the Success of Zero 2 Hero at Magnetic Academy

Magnetic Maintenance
28.10.2025

October 16 marked a proud milestone for Magnetic Academy, as we celebrated the graduation of our second Zero 2 Hero group, a specialised aviation training course developed in close partnership with the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI).

Zero 2 Hero was created for those eager to enter the aviation industry but with no prior technical background (Psst, if that sounds like you, keep reading!)

During 350 hours of intensive study and hands-on experience, participants built a strong foundation of theoretical knowledge and the practical skills needed to take their first steps toward a long and, hopefully, fruitful, aviation career.

Out of 17 students who began the journey, an impressive 95% successfully completed the programme, earning their diplomas after months of commitment, teamwork, and curiosity.

Turning Ambition into Achievement

What made this year’s group particularly memorable was their enthusiasm and drive. From the first day, participants showed a clear understanding of why the training mattered – not just for their own development, but for the larger picture of ensuring excellence and safety in aviation maintenance.

Their positive attitude created an inspiring atmosphere in every classroom session and hangar workshop.

“Each participant brought energy and motivation that lifted the entire group,” said the training team at Magnetic Academy.

“They were genuinely interested in understanding the ‘why’ behind each process, and that kind of engagement is what makes future professionals stand out.”

Blending Theory with Real-World Practice

Throughout the programme, trainees experienced a blend of classroom learning and real-world practice inside Magnetic’s hangars, where they could apply their lessons directly to aircraft systems, components, and procedures. That combination of theory and hands-on experience continues to be one of the key strengths of Magnetic Academy’s approach.

Graduation day marked the end of this stage – but also the beginning of an even more exciting chapter.

Many of the graduates are now continuing their professional growth, gaining additional practical experience and preparing for EASA B1/B2 module exams – the next important step toward becoming licensed engineers.

We are enormously grateful to TSI for their continued partnership, academic support, and shared vision of developing the next generation of aviation specialists in the Baltics.

Looking Ahead to Spring 2026

As Magnetic Academy looks ahead, preparations are already underway for the next Zero 2 Hero group starting next spring. With each new class, we move closer to our mission of building strong, capable professionals who will help shape the future of aviation.

To all our graduates – congratulations on your achievement and thank you for your dedication!

You’ve proven that determination and passion can turn any beginning into a strong take-off.
