A Day in the Life of David, Sales & Logistics Coordinator at Magnetic Trading
At Magnetic Trading, success depends on the people who keep things moving seamlessly between customers, warehouses, and global teams.
One of those people is David Praseuth, a Sales & Logistics Coordinator whose role bridges sales and operations every single day. We spoke with him to learn what a typical day looks like, the challenges he faces, and what keeps him motivated in a fast-moving industry.
Morning Routine: Setting the Pace
“My day always starts with a coffee,” David says.
But it’s not just about caffeine – it’s about clarity. He begins each morning by catching up on emails, scanning for anything urgent, and mapping out which sales orders should be prioritized first.
“This routine helps me set the pace,” he explains. “Once I know what needs attention right away, the rest of the day falls into place.”
Wearing Two Hats
David’s role is a blend of logistics and sales. On one side, he oversees warehouse operations – shipping, receiving, and carefully inspecting parts for quality. On the other, he manages Rotabull quotes and inquiries for Magnetic Trading’s stock.
Alongside these responsibilities, David also plays a key mentoring role – teaching Logistics Coordinator Nicholas Cruz about role functions and ensuring tasks are properly divided between the two of them throughout the day.
This helps maintain efficiency and reinforces the quality standards upheld across the team. “It’s been rewarding to share what I’ve learned and help strengthen the team,” David adds.
Handling the Unexpected
Like in any fast-paced environment, not every day goes according to plan. Last-minute shipping delays or urgent customer requests can quickly shift priorities.
“One of the biggest challenges is dealing with the unexpected,” David explains. “But I’ve learned that staying organized and keeping communication clear with our team and partners makes all the difference. It’s about focusing on solutions, not setbacks.”
Connecting Across Continents
Though based in the U.S., David’s role stretches far beyond one location. He also processes and manages orders for Magnetic Trading’s teams in Europe and Malaysia.
“It’s a good reminder that even though we’re spread out across the world, we’re all working toward the same goal – supporting customers wherever they are,” he says.
Finding Fulfillment in the Role
What keeps David motivated day after day is the variety and impact of his work. He’s there at the very beginning of the cycle – responding to customer inquiries and preparing sales quotes – and he’s also there at the very end, making sure parts are packed with care and shipped on time.
“I really enjoy being that bridge between sales and logistics,” David reflects. “It means I get to collaborate with so many different teams and know that the work I do has a direct impact on both customer satisfaction and Magnetic’s success globally.”
David’s story is a glimpse into the dedication and adaptability it takes to thrive in sales and logistics at Magnetic Trading.
His ability to juggle responsibilities, solve problems under pressure, and collaborate with global teams embodies what makes our people the driving force behind our growth.
